The Ontario Electrical League connects, educates, represents, and promotes Ontario's electrical industry. With Ontario being such a large geographic area with a high number of contractors, it is important to understand how to price your work appropriately. The OEL saw a need for research on how much contractors are charging per hour in each region of the province. TDG Marketing facilitated market research through multiple surveys to the OEL members. From there, a print tool called "The Labour Rate Guide" was created, and handed out to contractors at the OEL Electrical Industry Conference. This is now an annual project that is updated each year so OEL members always have the most up to date information to help them succeed.
If there's one thing the electrical contractors love, its golf! Don't we all? The Ontario Electrical League puts on a day of golf every year, and in 2017 it was held at the prestigious Glen Abbey Golf Club, home of the RBC Canadian Open! TDG Marketing created a print tool that could be sent to OEL members (and non-members) to encourage participation – not that too much encouragement was needed for the chance to golf at Glen Abbey!
The Ontario Electrical League hosts an annual Electrical Industry Conference with impressive speakers, and so much learning to be had! It is important for their branding to be front and centre at the conference, reinforcing their message with members, and making an impact on non-members.
