At TDG Marketing, we pride ourselves on our team's dedication and expertise. Today, we're thrilled to shine a spotlight on Michael, an incredible Account Manager who plays a pivotal role in keeping our clients connected and satisfied with our services…not to mention, he’s just a really great guy that we’d love you to get to know.
Meet Michael…
How long have you been with TDG?
I've been with TDG for two and a half years now, and it's been an incredible journey so far.
What does your typical workday look like?
My typical workday involves diving into the diverse world of marketing: from email marketing to digital strategies, SEO to traditional media planning like Print, TV, and Radio, and of course, the ever-evolving realm of social media. I spend my time understanding the unique needs of our clients and crafting strategies to help them achieve their marketing goals. I am also a leader for our AI committee, and I've had a blast navigating these new technologies.
What is the most challenging part of your job?
Keeping pace with the rapid evolution of the marketing field is definitely the most challenging aspect of my job. The landscape is constantly shifting with new technologies, trends, and consumer behaviours. Staying ahead requires continuous learning and adaptation, but it's a challenge I LOVE!
What is the most rewarding part of your job?
The most rewarding moments are when our clients are genuinely thrilled with our work. Whether it's a captivating design or a successful campaign, seeing their excitement and
satisfaction makes all the effort worthwhile. It's those moments that reaffirm why I love what I do. Nothing beats a successful KPI!
What do you like to do outside of work?
Outside of work, I embrace a variety of interests. I find solace in cooking, lose myself in a good book, and rejuvenate with yoga. Spending quality time with family and friends is always a
priority, and music is a constant companion in my life. Oh, and I have a bit of a soft spot for scary movies and anything with Gordon Ramsey!
Final Thoughts from Michael…
Transitioning from event planning to marketing has been a transformative journey for me. While event planning was certainly enjoyable, I feel incredibly fortunate to have found a career in marketing. It allows me to wear many hats and tackle a multitude of fascinating challenges. It's a profession that continually pushes me to grow and innovate, and I couldn't be happier with where I am today.
Thank you, Michael, for all that you do! Your hard work and dedication truly make a difference every day.
