Welcome to TDG Marketing…a full-service advertising agency that truly cares about our clients. Why do we care so much you ask? While we have a good-sized team that is continually growing, let me introduce you to a few of our key team members.
Meet Barry English. Barry is the President, Owner, and “Fearless Leader”. He started the business almost twenty years ago now, as a one-man operation out of his dining room turned office.
Next, we move onto Mandy English-Parry, who was recently promoted to Managing Director. We like to call her the “Mastermind” of TDG. While she started in 2014 as a co-op student (and not a great one might I add), she has worked her way through the ranks and is now the future leader of our great company.
Lastly, let me introduce myself. My name is Carli English and if you haven’t guessed yet, I am the Copywriter (and Social Media Guru, Digital Specialist, and occasional Account Coordinator…I wear many hats). I’ve been with TDG Marketing for eleven years and have held many roles here, but have settled in for the long haul in my current position.
To date, we have twelve team members including family, ranging from Videographers, Editors and a full Graphic Design team to a front line Client Services department.
As a family business, one thing that marks our success is our dedication to growth – not just in numbers or clients, but in how we operate. As Barry likes to remind us “just because something has always been done that way, is not a reason to do it that way now”.
Working with family has been an extremely smooth process all things considered, but it has taken time to find our groove and navigate the ups and downs together. In fact, we have a few ground rules that we live by. Our golden rule is, if we wouldn’t say or ask something of a co-worker, we won’t of each other. The personal stays at home, work stays at work, and anything muddying the waters is done in a coffee shop.
Just because we’re family, doesn’t mean we have the same personalities and skills. We have done a spectacular job of utilizing each of our strengths in different departments and that’s been the bedrock to our success. But there is one thing we all have in common…
“My favourite part of what we do is seeing our clients succeed”, says Mandy.
We care about this business deeply, and therefore we care about our customers. Without them, there wouldn’t be a TDG Marketing. So, thank you to our amazing clients of the past, present, and future. We can’t wait to see what heights TDG Marketing will have reached after another twenty years!Back
